Update on the building works
The building works are going well, new walls are ready to go up, and we will soon be looking at starting to work on refurbishing the patient toilets. Work on the new consulting rooms will continue at a pace. Thank you for being so understanding while the work is ongoing, there will still be some disruption and noise to come, but that cannot be avoided. We will keep you updated on progress and inform you of any significant disruption. Thank you to those patients who have walked to the surgery while the patient car park is out of action. Can I please remind you to be mindful of the residents who still need access to their driveways and not park across their driveways if you are coming to visit the surgery with your car. The entrance to the staff car park also needs to be kept free of cars, as our Doctors and Ambulances need to have access to get in and out of the car park for emergencies.
We will be continuing to make use of the “bungalow” on 35 Orchard Road whilst the build is ongoing for some of our long term condition reviews, and blood tests. If you have been booked an appointment at the bungalow, our receptionists are more than happy to provide you with directions if you are unsure where this is.
We anticipate the build to be completed by the mid to end of April 2026.
Thank you again for your understanding whilst the project is ongoing.
